Our Journey of Craftsmanship
Our story began in 1999 with just 10 sewing machines and 20 workers in a small workshop during the peak of China’s industrialization. Driven by a belief in quality and durability, we laid the foundation for what would become Janboots.
In 2003, we opened our first factory with 200 workers — a pivotal step to ensure full control over material, craftsmanship, and quality. We mastered the foam-padded backing system, a complex technique involving multiple layers of air mesh, setting a new standard in comfort and resilience.
Realizing that quality and craftsmanship must be paired with great design, Janboots was born — a brand that embodies the perfect balance of functionality and style. In 2016, we expanded our design studios to Vancouver and Munich, blending the ruggedness of North American outdoors with European elegance.
