Since 1993, J-Star Motion has been at the forefront of linear motion technology. Originally established as Jiecang Linear Motion Technology Co., Ltd. in Xinchang, China in 2000, we began as an OEM manufacturer of linear actuators and lifting columns.

Our commitment to high standards quickly earned global recognition, especially in medical and home care equipment sectors. Today, we produce up to 600,000 actuators and lifting columns annually, along with 200,000 control boxes, serving leading companies across continents.

In January 2023, we officially moved into our new 465,000 sq ft state-of-the-art manufacturing and warehouse facility near Grand Rapids, Michigan — marking a major milestone in our U.S. operations and supply chain resilience.
